Ikigai Apparel’s Christmas holly leaf campaign

Between October – December 2017, 15% of sales from our holly leaves was donated to 6 year old Annabel Trueman who was born with severe cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

Donations assisted with crucial intensive physiotherapy for Annabel, not available on the NHS. Many of you not only purchased a holly leaf but donated directly.  Ikigai Apparel raised a total of £200.00, Thank you!

Annabel’s Father, Paul, updates us on how the treatment went for Annabel:

“After a slow start, which had been down to Annabel recovering from another chest infection, she continued to make leaps and bounds in her progress. She loved the physio (which is not always the case for some kids, as it’s very intensive). The format remained the same, 1 hour of floor physio before she went into the Spider for another hour. By the end of the 3-week programme, she was managing between 30-45 minutes in the Spider stood upright.

Annabel continues to amaze us as parents and we are truly thankful to Sophie, her great team at Ikigai Apparel and her wonderfully generous customers who have supported Annabel. We are taking her back in June and October and would be grateful for any further support. Thanks Paul Trueman”
