About the product
These Aspen Gold real leaf earrings are stunning and can be worn with our matching folia pendant collection. Each standard size earring measures approximately 50mm x 40mm.
Our stunning leaves are skeletonised to leave their veins intact. The leaf is then preserved through electroforming, a process where the leaf is slowly encased in copper to strengthen it. The leaf is finished in a heavy layer of 24-carat gold. Their size, shape and patination will vary, enhancing their individual nature and creating a truly unique piece of jewellery.
The aspen tree is associated with conquering your fears. The word "aspen" comes from the Greek "Aspen" meaning shield. The ancient Celts used the wood of aspen for battle shields. As the breeze passes through the aspen leaves, they flutter and quiver, making a soft whispering sound which is one of their most notable attributes. It is believed that as they dance in the breeze, they whisper a message of peace; listen within yourself and find comfort in the still, small voice of calm. The aspen is believed to teach us lessons of fearlessness and provide courage in facing the unknown.

In order to offer a premium courier service DPD will ship all UK orders and Royal Mail will ship to European and international destinations.

Delivery is free with orders over £150.00
Please click to download YourDPD App in order to set your own personal delivery preferences. DPD provide a 1 hour time slot for estimated arrival by SMS and email. You’ll be able to select other ‘in flight’ options for your convenience.
A signature is required for all UK domestic deliveries, with the exception of the ‘leave safe’ option available with our DPD in flight delivery services. If you're unavailable and haven’t requested a leave safe option, a card will be left with rearrangement details or delivered to a neighbour.

International Shipping is free with orders over £150.00
We use Royal Mail Track & Sign For Service. Please note, that international orders being shipped outside of the UK will be subject to an approximate 25% customs/import duties and tax charges once they reach their destination country. This cost is not covered by Ikigai Apparel and so you will be responsible for paying any additional charges that may occur.
