Mini Acorn Platinum

This Acorn Platinum real leaf pendant is stunning, worn by itself or layered with other leaves in our collection. This pendant measures approximately 15mm x 20mm.

Our stunning leaves are skeletonised to leave their veins intact.  The leaf is then preserved through electroforming, a process where the leaf is slowly encased in copper to strengthen it.  The leaf is finished in a heavy layer of platinum.  Their size, shape and patination will vary, enhancing their individual nature and creating a truly unique piece of jewellery.

The acorn symbolises both strength and power.  In autumn, when these tiny nuggets drop from the mighty Oak tree, most will feed surrounding wildlife.  Only a few will survive and become magnificent oak trees.  Acorns will only grow on fully matured oak trees and symbolise patience, perseverance and hard work, necessary to achieve our life goals.  The oak tree is able to repair itself if struck by lightning, a truly amazing tree. 

All of our pendants are supplied with a complimentary chain of your choice.  Our chains are made with a base metal of stainless steel and then plated in either 24 carat gold or rose gold.  Each chain has two lengths, meaning you have twice the choice on how to wear your piece with that favourite outfit!  Our chains are available in 18 inch (46cm), 24 inch (61cm), 33.5 (85cm).
