The Cottonwood tree was sacred to Native Americans. This tree is considered holy because it can often grow where other trees cannot. This tree was chosen by the Sioux for Sun Dance ceremonies.
These rose gold Cottonwood real leaf earrings are stunning and can be worn with our matching folia pendant collection. Each earring measures approximately 40mm x 45mm.
Our stunning leaves are skeletonised to leave their veins intact. The leaf is then preserved through electroforming, a process where the leaf is slowly encased in copper to strengthen it. The leaf is finished in a heavy layer of rose gold. Their size, shape and patination will vary, enhancing their individual nature and creating a truly unique piece of jewellery.

The cottonwood tree was viewed as symbolic of the sun. The cottonwood bark and leaves were frequently used for their medicinal remedies and in particular, to treat wounds and swelling.

We use Royal Mail Track & Sign For Service.
